Painted Solutions to Design Problems

Trends in faux finishing come and go, but “faux fixes” never go out of style. Over the years, I have perfected techniques for “fixing” design problems on a wide range of interior and exterior surfaces—even many unlikely candidates. My finishes are “additive” and do not require harsh chemicals, excessive sanding, or stripping. It is amazing how stone, brick, metal, wood, and even fabric can be transformed with the right paint—while retaining a completely natural appearance!

Brick Update

An elegant kitchen remodel left this fireplace feeling dated and casual. The updated brick ties in beautifully to the new silver and gray color scheme.

Smoke Damage

Extensive smoke damage on a Lime fireplace surround did not respond to cleaning methods; completely and invisibly restored with paint.
